Likester.com launched in April
2011, and Likester Affinities launched in October of the same year. Likester is
the "The Global Popularity Engine". We help users, companies, and advertisers organize
and explore over half a billion Facebook Likes. Our Affinities Recommendation Engine uses this data to make predictions about
what users will like, based upon their profiles and the profiles of people like
them.
The Likester Corporation is a small self-funded startup out of Seattle, Washington,
founded by Kevin McCarthy and
Joseph Brown. We hope to make money
by helping users better understand their world, and by helping marketers better
understand their users.

Kevin McCarthy is a software developer, marketer, and occasionally successful entrepreneur
from Seattle. He has been involved with internet marketing and development in the
Seattle area for over 15 years now. When he’s not hitting refresh on database query
windows or reporting systems, he enjoys playing drums, and spending time with his
wife and child.

Joseph Brown is a data wrangler and struggling marathoner, fond of numbers, dogs,
set theory, running, relational databases, the perfect cocktail and fine cuisine.
Joe's been working at successful and unsuccessful startups in the Seattle area since
1993, and long ago studied Mathematics and Linguistics at the University of Washington
(go Huskies!).
