Musica Urbana Latina: Luis Armando Lozada Cruz nació el 8 de septiembre de 1971 en Brooklyn, New York. Poco tiempo después su familia decidió mudarse a Puerto Rico, en el sector de Puerta de Tierra, en San Juan. Sus padres, Don Rafael Lozada y Doña Margarita Cruz, pudieron ver desde temprana edad la inclinación de su hijo por lo artístico. El pequeño Vico, como lo apodaban sus familiares, ingresó al Teatro Pobre de América, de la mano de Pedro Santaliz. Contaba entonces con tan sólo 10 años y las tablas del teatro lograron despertar su talento. En la década de los ochenta, el movimiento del break dance y la música originada por los raperos se apoderó de las radios, y el ritmo y manera de contar las historias a través de la música fueron suficiente para inspirarlo a seguir por ese camino. Fue así como empezó a cantar en la escuela y en fiestecitas y luego en Cafés underground alrededor de la isla. Una amiga ofreció llevarle una camiseta con su apodo de niño Vico y sugirió agregarle una C para hacerlo sonar como más rapero....view more
