Abbiamo scelto quella di siracusa perchè ci ha lasciato ricordi indelebili...abitavamo a 50 passi dal mare e tutte le notti eravamo spettatori di un mare incantato, e a lui dedichiamo il nostro brano. La casetta, il primo luogo che ha ospitato i SOTTOSOPRA69, era una costruzione abbandonata a se stessa ma affascinante e piena di magia. Tra mille pazzie e tanta voglia di far emergere lo scoglio dallacqua, scrivere brani a lume di candela, è stata veramente un esperienza interiore. Siamo stati finalisti al logos, concorso per scuole superiori; finalisti a juke-box 2000e finalisti nazionali allaccademia della canzone di san remo 2000. Nel frattempo durante i primi anni, la casetta fu acquistata da Luigi, il fratello di uno dei fondatori del gruppo ed essendo in ristrutturazione, i SOTTOSOPRA69 si trasferirono in una piccola stanza sulla terrazza di un ingrosso aziendale ai piedi del del castello della loro città.
