Rockabilly has now entered the echelon of American roots music and with good reason. Very little of todays rock music would be acceptable without it (but dont blame rockabilly, I know Gene Vincent would hate most of todays hit parade from Hell) and its still rock n roll in its purest, most unadulterated form.
