Jonathan Serrie is an Atlanta-based correspondent with FOX News. He joined the network in 1999. Serrie reported from Kosovo, Macedonia and NATO Headquarters in Belgium during Operation Allied Force in 1999. Following the 9/11 terrorist attacks of 2001, he traveled to Uzbekistan to cover Operation Enduring Freedom and moved into Afghanistan, where he reported on the Kala-i-Jangi prison uprising near Mazar-i-Sharif. Serrie returned to Afghanistan the following year to cover the establishment of the post-Taliban government in Kabul. Serrie works out of FOXs Southeast Bureau in Atlanta where he covers Southern politics, hurricanes and other major issues affecting the region. Before joining FOX News, Serrie worked as a general assignment reporter for local TV stations in the Southeast, including WSB (ABC) in Atlanta, WYFF (NBC) in Greenville, SC and WWSB (ABC) in Sarasota, FL.
