Rock, Tango: Cuando Andrés cumplió ocho años pidió de regalo un acordeón, y más tarde un tambor. Sin embargo, con el tiempo, se fue volcando a la guitarra eléctrica y al piano, el instrumento donde muestra mayor fluidez y versatilidad. Años después, pescando tiburones en Uruguay, Andrés escucho su primera oferta de trabajo, un grupo musical, ya en sus horas bajas, necesitaba un reemplazo en los teclados, y fue entonces cuando nuestro jovencísimo Andrés salió a las carreteras por primera vez. Un tiempo después, tejió su futuro propio, y fue a una audición para entrar en el grupo Raíces, y entre los gritos del Mundial de fútbol, y los tambores del candombe, dió sus primeros pasos en el latin jazz y fue detenido por la policía de la dictadura.
